We are a private billing clinic that offers a personalised and assured continuity of care model. This mean your care with us is built on nurturing a long term therapeutic relationship. 

Our fees are carefully considered to balance the needs of the community and to keep our family practice sustainable. Additionally, we want to pay our administrative and nursing staff a fair wage for the excellent work they do. 

GPs are independent sole traders. They each engage Family Doctors Highton to provide them with consulting space, reception and billing services, and access to medical equipment and consumables and nursing staff. 

Invoices for consultations are issued by the GP you see.   If you are facing financial difficulties, please speak to your GP personally about it. 

Family Doctors Highton issues invoices for non GP consultation services and products. These may include payment for  non government funded vaccines, medical consumables, nursing fees and administrative fees such as Transfer of full Medical Records (Health Summaries are transferred at no charge).

Please refer to our fee schedule for more details.   Our published fees are for reference and GPs will bill to that maximum amount based on the duration of your consultation. 

 PLEASE NOTE: Unpaid accounts will attract an admin fee. Non- Attendance fee will apply to cancellations under 24 hours or No Shows.
